The Golden State Warriors 2006-07 season is the 61st National Basketball Association (NBA) season for the Golden State Warriors basketball franchise, and their 34th overall when based in Oakland, California. After the 2005-06 season, where the Warriors were ranked last in their division, the team list was greatly revamped following an eight-player deal with Indiana Pacers in January 2007. After an average start of the 2006-07 season, Golden Country made dramatic changes, ending the year at 16-5, and catching the eighth seed in the Western Conference, marking their return to post-season after a thirteen-year hiatus. The Warriors met top seed Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs, and shocked many in the world of basketball when they beat Dallas four games into two. However, the Warriors met Utah Jazz in the second half, and were beaten four games into one in a hard-fought series.
The Warriors will not play the playoff again until 2013.
"We Believe" became the Laskar slogan for the last two months of the season and the playoffs.
With the exception of Andris Biedri ??, Mike Dunleavy Jr., Patrick O'Bryant, MickaÃÆ'Â © l PiÃÆ' Â © trus ,? Arko? Abarkapa ,? Ar? Nas Jasikevi? Ius, and Josh Powell, team roster names are featured in NBA 2K18.
