Wanda Elizabeth "Beth" Moore (born Wanda Elizabeth Green , June 16, 1957) is an American evangelist, author, and teacher of the Bible. She is the founder of Living Proof Ministries, a Biblical based organization for women based in Houston, Texas. The ministry focuses on helping women who want to model their lives on evangelical Christian principles.
The Ministry, along with LifeWay Christian Resources, conducts more than a dozen conferences, known as "Live Proof Live", across the United States every year. Travis Cottrell leads worship at conferences. From 2007 to 2011, Moore, Kay Arthur, and Priscilla Shirer, collaborated on another LifeWay weekend conference, "Deeper Still: The Event". Moore also taught through his radio show, Living Proof with Beth Moore, and appeared as a regular show on LIFE Today's television program, where he hosted "Wednesdaydays in the Word (" officially) known as "Wednesday with Beth").
In addition, Moore wrote the book and produced video resources based on his Bible lessons at the Live Proof Live conference and at Houston's First Baptist Church. He currently attends Bayou City Fellowship, Houston, Texas, where his son-in-law, Curtis Jones, is the main minister.
She has taught at conferences for women in various countries, including Ireland, England, Singapore, Philippines, Puerto Rico, and India.

Born in a military base in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and raised in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, where his father owns a movie house, Moore is the fourth of five children, all of whom have worked in theaters since a young age.

Moore holds a degree in political science from Southwest Texas State University, where he promised and initiated into Chi Omega.
Family
He married Keith Moore in 1978. They have two grown daughters, Amanda and Melissa. Her two daughters, along with Curtis Jones's son-in-law, work with their mother in Living Proof Ministries.
Ministry
Moore committed his life to vocational Christian service at the age of 18. When he volunteered as a Sunday school teacher, Moore realized that he needed to learn more about the Bible. He went to a class of biblical doctrine that gave him a deep desire to know the Bible, and he began sharing his widespread knowledge through weekly Bible study classes. By the mid-1990s the class had grown to 2,000 women, and he spoke in churches throughout South Texas. That's when the publishing arm of LifeWay Christian Resources Broadman & amp; Holman (later B & H) began publishing his Bible lesson, which led to a national language service for Moore. With the help of the cult group he assembled, he began holding weekend conferences throughout the country. As the basis for his national speaking service, he founded Living Proof Ministries.
In 2008, he held his live "Live Proof Live" simulcast, which is estimated to have been watched by 70,000 people in 715 locations. The sale of his book on Esther is credited as part of what makes the "strong" quarter for Lifeway Christian Shop during the peak of the Great Recession.
