Religion UFO is any religion where the existence of extraterrestrial entities (ET) that operate unidentified flying objects (UFOs) is a belief element. Typically, believers of such religions believe that ET will be interested in the well-being of existing humanity, or will eventually become, part of an existing ET civilization. Others can incorporate ET into a more supernatural worldview in which UFO residents are more akin to angels than physical aliens; these differences may be blurred in the subculture as a whole. These religions are rooted in early science fiction allegories (especially space operas) and odd fictional writings, in ufology, and in the subculture of UFO sightings and stories of alien abductions.

Summary
Some believers that the arrival or rediscovery of foreign civilizations, technology and spirituality will enable humans to tackle current ecological, spiritual and social problems. Issues such as hatred, war, bigotry, poverty and so on are said to be solved through the use of superior alien technology and spiritual ability. Such belief systems are also described as millenarians in their view.
The UFO religions were first developed in countries such as the United States, Canada, France, Britain and Japan as a concept that considers culturally advanced cultural contexts to understand such ETs and where religion in any form is not desperate or pressed. The term "flying saucer" and popular notion of UFO originated in 1947. The 1950s saw the creation of UFO religions, with the emergence of recognized contacts.

Aetherius Society
The Aetherius Society was founded in England in 1955. Its founder, George King, claimed to have been telepathically contacted by a foreign intelligence called Aetherius, who represented "the Interplanetary Parliament." According to the Aetherians, their society acts as a vehicle through which "Cosmic Transmission with advanced metaphysical significance" can be disseminated to humanity. This "transmission" was recorded on a reel-to-reel magnetic band by people present at every "telepathic transmission" when George King sat in a state of "Samadhi" and "transmission" was "delivered" through his own voicebox. In 1956 and 1957, and on occasions prior to the public hearing, some of these "transmissions" predicted the activity of flying saucers in certain parts of the world on certain dates (You Are Responsible! Aetherius Society 1961). Not long after these dates, newspapers, such as the Sunday Times and The Daily Telegraph, reported sightings that coincided with the approximate date and location in this "transmission". As a spiritual teacher, George King teaches certain yoga practices, spiritual healing, eastern mantra and "dynamic prayer" - a tool for spiritual self-development and service to the world - essentially formed by the Aetherius Society.
Church of SubGenius
Founded in 1979 with the publication of SubGenius Pamphlet # 1 by Ivan Stang and Philo Drummond, the SubGenius Church has been known as a "parody religion" because of the extensive use of comedy and parody. Apart from this, the organization claims more than 10,000 followers around the world who have paid $ 30 to be "an ordained minister of SubGenius", and it has been embraced by many skeptical and atheist groups. With the publication of The Book of the SubGenius in 1983, the Church of SubGenius foretold that its founder, JR "Bob" Dobbs, was associated with an exterrestrial race called Xists ("X-ists"), and these Xists were scheduled for launched a global invasion of Earth on July 5, 1998. (See also: X-Day (Church of SubGenius)) The day of the scheduled invasion came and went in absenteeism by the Xists, but church members remained unsure. The Church now holds an annual "X-Day" celebration on July 5 each year. The Church also claims that its members are not fully human, after being descended from the Yeti.
Gate of Heaven
The Gate of Heaven gained fame in 1997 when founder Marshall Applewhite convinced 38 followers to commit mass suicide. Members reportedly believed themselves to be aliens, waiting for the space shuttle to arrive with Comet Hale-Bopp. The suicide was done with a clear belief that their souls would be transported to the spacecraft, which they thought was hiding behind a comet. They undergo complex preparations for their journey, including buying and wearing matching shoes and staying in dark homes to simulate the long journey they expect in space.
The Universal Industrial Church of the New World Entertainer
The Universal Industrial Church of the New World Entertainers is a UFO religion founded in 1967 by Allen Michael.
In 1947, Allen Noonan was a pictorial painter in Long Beach, California, who in that year claimed to have met the Galactic Space Beings. When painting a board, he says that he is reflected to a Mothership. He then changed his name to Allen Michael. He claimed to have discovered a flying saucer in 1954 at Giant Rock in the Mojave Desert of California. During Summer of Love, he started One World Family Commune with a vegan restaurant in the northeast corner of Haight and Scott streets in San Francisco, California, called Here and Now. 7 followed by a similar restaurant. The communal group lived in two large mansions during the early 1970s in Berkeley, California. In 1969, the commune set up a vegan restaurant in a much larger space on Telegraph Avenue and Haste Street in Berkeley and the name of the restaurant was converted into The Natural Family Food Center One . They publish a vegetarian cookbook called Cookery Cosmic . There is a large mural on the side of the restaurant painted by Allen Michael who has written on it phrase Peasant, Workers, Unified Army - People's Spiritual Reform 1776-1976! The farmer holds a pitchfork, the worker holds a hammer, and the soldier holds a gun, and they are hand in hand. On top of the three there are three flying saucers coming for the landing. In 1973, Allen Michael established the "Universal Industrial Church of the New World Comforter" and published the first volume of his distributed revelation, The Everlasting Gospel. In 1975, the church headquarters and vegetarian restaurants were moved to Stockton, California. Allen Noonan ran for president of the United States in the 1980 and 1984 elections on the Utopian Synthesis Party ticket.
Nation of Islam
The Nation of Islam holds the belief that UFOs are man-made machines driven not by extraterrestrials, but by humans. It is believed that these machines will have hands on the Day of Judgment. His late leader Elijah Muhammad claimed that Ezekiel's Bible Scriptures depict the extraordinary "Mother Plane" or "Wheel". Elijah reports in his books that his mentor, Wallace Fard Muhammad, claims that there is hidden technology on Earth that is chosen by scientists around the world secretly. Fard explains that he already has a large "Mother Plane" built on the island of Nippon (Japan) in 1929. The current leader, Louis Farrakhan, described "Mother Plane" as follows:
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad told us about a giant monster made like a universe, a ball inside a ball. White people call them unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Ezekiel, in the Old Testament, sees a wheel that looks like a cloud during the day but a pillar of fire at night. The Hon. Elijah Muhammad said that the wheel was built on the island of Nippon, which is now called Japan, by some native scientists. It took 15 billion dollars of gold at that time to build it. Made of the toughest steel. Americans do not yet know the steel composition used to make such instruments. This is a circular field, and the Bible says that it never changes. Because of its circular nature, it can stop and move in any direction at thousands of miles per hour. He says there are 1,500 small wheels on this mother wheel which is half a mile by half a mile (800 x 800 m). The Mother Wheel is like a small human planet built. Each of these small planes carried three bombs.

The International Movement has been described as "the greatest UFO religion in the world." RaÃÆ'ÂÂ «lians believe that a scientifically advanced aerospace, known as Elohim, creates life on Earth through genetic engineering, and that the combination of human cloning and" mind transfer "can ultimately provide eternal life. Past religious teachers, such as Jesus, Buddha and Muhammad, are said to have been sent by this scientifically advanced aerospace to teach mankind. Elohim is said to be planning a future visit to complete their revelation and humanitarian education.

"
Scientology
Scientology has been discussed in the context of UFO religions in the UFO Religions by Christopher Partridge, The Book of Encyclopedia of Religions UFO by James R. Lewis, and UFO Religion: Inside the Flying Sauces and Culture of the Plate by Gregory Reece. The story of extraterrestrial civilization and intervention in past lives forms part of the Scientology belief system. The most famous story published and ridiculed by critics is that Xenu, the Galactic Confederate ruler who is said to have brought billions of frozen people to Earth 75 million years ago and placed them near a number of volcanoes, and dropped a hydrogen bomb into it, killing the whole population in an effort to overcome the overpopulation. The spirits of these men were then captured by Xenu and the masses implanted with many suggestions and then "packed" into the group of spirits.
From the early 1950s onwards, Scientology founder, L. Ron Hubbard, published a number of books, lectures, and other works describing what he called "space opera".
Scientology teaches that all human beings have experienced countless past lives, including life in ancient extraterrestrial advanced societies, such as Helatrobus and the Marcabians. The traumatic memories of past lives are said to be the cause of many current physical and mental illnesses. Scientists also believe that humans have superhuman powers that can not be restored until they are fully rehabilitated as spiritual beings through "audit" practices, using methods established by Hubbard in his various works.
According to Hubbard, a thetan (the term Scientology for the soul) has a body. When the body is dead, thetan goes to the "landing station" on the planet Venus, where they are replanted and programmed to forget their previous lives. The Venusians then "capsule" each thetan and send them back to Earth to be cast into the Gulf of California; where, every thetan is looking for a new body to live in. To avoid this inconvenience, Hubbard advises Scientologists to simply refuse to go to Venus after their death.
Unarius Academy of Sciences
Founded by Ernest L. Norman and his wife, Ruth, in 1954, Unarians was a group headquartered in El Cajon, California, who believed that, through the use of Four-dimensional space physics, they were able to communicate with supposedly advanced intelligent creatures who allegedly is on a "high frequency" plane. Unarians believe in past lives and argue that the Solar System was once inhabited by ancient inter-planetary civilizations.
Human Universe
The Universe People or The cosmic people of the power of light (Czech: VesmÃÆ'rnÃÆ' lidÃÆ' Â © sil sv? Tla ) is a Czech movement centered around Ivo A. Benda. His belief system is based on the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations that communicated with Benda and other "contacts" since October 1997 telepathically and then by direct personal contact. According to Benda, the civilization operates a fleet of spacecraft led by Ashtar (sometimes written Ashtar Sheran ) that orbits and closely observes the Earth, helping good and waiting to transport followers to other dimensions. The Universe People teaching incorporates various elements of ufology (some foreign "contacters" are credited, though often also resigned after some time as misguided or deceptive), Christianity (Jesus is "subtle vibration") and conspiracy theories (evil forces Should plan chipping mandatory people).

Theosophy and Maitreya
The Theosophical Master Benjamin Creme claimed that the figure of the Messiah he referred to as Maitreya, which, he taught, would soon declare himself publicly, was in telepathic contact with the space brothers on their flying saucers. Creme holds the view that the Nordic aliens of Venus fly flying saucers from a civilization on Venus hundreds of millions of years before us on the etheric planet Venus. These flying saucers were able to shunt the vibration levels of themselves and their craft to a slower rate of vibration from the atoms of the physical plane (Creme accepts UFO sightings of George Adamski as valid). According to Creme, Venus people have an aircraft carrier up to four miles. It is also believed by the Theosophists in general as well as Creme in particular that the god governing the Earth, Sanat Kumara (who is believed to live in a town called Shamballa located above the Gobi desert on etheric Earth planet), is a Nordic Alien originally derived from Venus 18,500. 000 years ago. The followers of Benjamin Creme believe there is regular aircraft flying between Venus and Shamballah and that the crop circles are mostly caused by flying saucers.
Enhanced Main Doctrine
The Teacher's Teacher's Teaching is a theological group based on Theosophy. In the traditional Ascending Teachings of Guy Ballard and Elizabeth Clare Prophet, no mention is made of UFOs or flying saucers. However, Teachers Teachers Teachers Joshua David Stone teachings in his teachings began, beginning in 1993, to refer to Ashtar, believed by some UFO fans to be the commander of a flying saucer fleet called "Komando Galaksi Ashtar" operating near the Earth (mostly manned by Venusians), as a Master along with more traditional teachers. He continues to include "Ashtar" in the list of rising teachers whom he mentions he receives a description from when speaking at his annual Mount Shasta Wesak Festival that began in 1996. Stone also teaches that Master Jesus, under Sananda's "galactic" name, sometimes riding with "Commander Ashtar" in his flying saucer fleet.
Tempelhofgesellschaft
A Nazi Gnostic sect based in Vienna, Austria, called Tempelhofgesellschaft, was founded in the early 1990s, teaching what they call the form of Marcionism. They distribute pamphlets claiming that the Aryan race originally came to Atlantis from the Aldebaran star (this information should be based on "ancient Sumerian texts"). They maintain that the Aryans of Aldebaran gain their power from the vril energy of the Black Sun. They teach that because the Aryan race comes from outer space, it has a divine mission to dominate all other races. It is believed by the followers of this religion that an enormous space fleet is on its way to Earth from Aldebaran which, upon arrival, will join the "Nazi Flying Saucers of Antarctica" to build the Western Empire.
New Message from God
The New Message from God claims that aliens are on Earth to take advantage of the imminent collapse of the global environment: "Humanity now faces competition from outside the world, the intervention of race outside the world seeking to take advantage of weak and fragmented humanity, which seeking benefit from the decline of human civilization. "
Training center for Atma-energy release
The sect was originally a splinter group from Brahma Kumaris and was known for fear of police and media where alleged attempts to commit suicide rituals took place at Teide National Park in Tenerife in 1998. Apparently, 32 members of the sect believed that they would be collected by the spacecraft and taken to an unspecified destination.
