Your lies in April , known in Japan as Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso ( ?????? ) or just Kimiuso , is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Naoshi Arakawa. The series is serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Sh? Nen Magazine from April 2011 to May 2015. An anime television series adapted by A-1 Pictures aired from October 2014 to March 2015 on the Fuji TV Noitamina block. Live-action adaptation movie of the same name released in September 2016.

Plot
Magic Piano K? Sei Arima dominates a variety of music competitions and has become popular among children musicians, but also controversial. After the death of his rude mother, who was also a cold-hearted instructor who forced him to play the piano without emotion, he suffered a mental breakdown at the age of eleven when he appeared on a piano recital that left him unable to hear his piano voice even though his hearing was fine.
Two years later, K? Sei has not touched the piano and viewed the world in monochrome, without any talent or color, resigned to live his life with his good friends, Tsubaki and Watari, until, one day, a girl changed everything. Kaori Miyazono, a bold, free-spirited, fourteen-year-old violinist whose style reflects his maniac personality, helps Kuyi get back into the music world and shows that he must be free and fall apart not like a rigid, structured style K? Sei gets used to it, and when she keeps picking her up, she quickly realizes that she loves him, even though she already likes Watari.
However, when performing together (K? Sei has been dragged into it by Kaori), Kaori suddenly collapsed after his performance moved and was hospitalized. At first Kaori said that she was anemic and needed only a few routine tests, but this was revealed as a lie when her past flash revealed she was unconscious and bleeding many times before.
Eventually Kaori is released and returns to her happy, crazy, inviting K? Sei to play in Gala with him. However, Kaori failed to show up on Gala Day, and when his health deteriorated, and he began to succumb to life. This time, K? Sei is the person who inspired her after playing a duet with Nagi Aiza, a fellow pianist rival named Takeshi Aiza. After crying and listening to her, Kaori chooses a risky operation that can cause her death if it fails, just so she can play with her once more.
During the final of East Japan's Piano Competition, Kosei starts playing the piano, hoping it will reach Kaori, but seeing Kaori accompany him during the show, shows that he has died, because it is his last wish that he wants to play with Kosei.
The Lie You in April manga series written and illustrated by Naoshi Arakawa, and started serialization on April 6, 2011 in Kodansha's Monthly Sh? Nen Magazine . First tank? Bon was published by Kodansha on September 16, 2011, and the last volume was released in two editions, regular and limited edition editions, with limited edition bundled with OVA, and released on May 15, 2015. The series is licensed in English in America North by Kodansha Comics, and the first volume was published on April 21, 2015.
A spin-off manga titled Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso: Coda is bundled with the release of the Blu-ray release of the anime series. It was then published in tank format? Bon on August 17, 2016.

A-1 Pictures has aired the anime production Your Lie in April . It airs on October 10, 2014 in Japan and ends on March 20, 2015. The first opening song is "Hikaru Nara" ???? , on If You Will Shine ) by Goose house and the first cover theme song is "Kirameki" ( ??? , turns Sparkle ) by wacci. The second opening song is "Nanairo Symphony" ???????? , Nanairo Shinfon? , lit. "Seven Coloured Symphony") by Coalamode and the second closing theme is "Orange" ( , Orenji ) by 7 !! (Seven Ups). The original soundtrack consists of Masaru Yokoyama.
In North America, Aniplex of America licensed the series in the region, which broadcast the series on Crunchyroll, Aniplex Channel, Hulu and Viewster. In Australia and New Zealand, the series is licensed by Madman Entertainment, which streams the series to AnimeLab. The series is licensed in Great Britain and Ireland by Anime Limited. The series is then made available on Netflix with English rank, as well as English subtitles.
Live action movie
On August 24, 2015, the 'kimiuso-movie.jp' domain was registered under Toho, a Japanese film production and distribution company, which lets fans believe that an adaptation movie is in the works. Speculation was confirmed in September 2015 when major players were announced for live-action adaptation of the series: Kento Yamazaki as K? Sei Arima, Suzu Hirose as Kaori Miyazono, E-girls' Anna Ishii as Tsubaki Sawabe, and Taishi Nakagawa as Ry? Ta Watari. While the original story depicts the characters in their first year of junior year, it is announced that they will be in their second year of high school in the film. This adaptation, scheduled to be released in Japan in September 2016, will be written by the live action scriptwriter Strawberry Night Yukari Tatsui, and directed by the live-action director Paradise Kiss, Takehiko Shinj.
Play Stage
In the May issue of Monthly Magazine Shennen , it was announced that the stage play adaptation of the manga was green-lit, and set to run in August of the same year. The stage drama is announced to be held at Tokyo's AiiA Theater 2.5 from August 24, 2017 to September 3, 2017, and at the Umeda Arts Theater in Osaka from September 7, 2017 to September 10, 2017. The stage play is directed by Naohiro Ise, and written by Kaori Miura. It was also revealed that the drama will have live music performances, with Yuta Matsumura doing the piano, and Shuko Kobayashi doing the violin. The main character is announced, and starring: Shintar? Anzai as K? Sei Arima, Arisa Matsunaga as Kaori Miyazono, Misato Kawauchi as Tsubaki Sawabe, Masanari Wada as Ry? Ta Watari, Haruka Yamashita as Emi Igawa, and Sh? Jir? Yokoi as Takeshi Aiza. The additional cast was then announced, with: Takako Nakamura as Yuriko Ochiai, Shun Mikami as Akira Takayanagi, Haruka Igarashi as Nao Kashiwagi, Kuniko Kodama as Hiroko Seto, and Ry? Ko Tanaka as Saki Arima.
